Special Rules and Regulations

A. Only Sophomore and Freshman students in good academic standing are eligible to participate in the Sophomore League. When an athlete is moved up from the Sophomore team to either the Junior Varsity or Varsity teams, they may NOT play back in the Sophomore team.

B. All games will be played of two thirty (30) minute halves. There will be a five minute half-time period. The HOME team shall pay the Official $30 prior to the start of the game. The home team is the SECOND team on the schedule.

C. All teams are to be ready to play fifteen minutes prior to the starting time. The Official shall adhere to the time schedule as close as possible.

D. At the end of regulation time, if there is a tied score, there shall be no shoot-outs. Teams will be awarded three points for a win, one point for a tie and zero points for a loss. The standings shall be based on accumulated points. If there is a tied in points, the following tied breakers shall be used:

a) Head to head results.

b) Goal differential.

c) Least number of goals scored against.

d) Greatest number of shut-outs.

e) Coin toss.
