NOTE:
The second team on the game schedule is the home team. The home team
is
responsible for paying the two officials ($37.00 each). Each game will be played at
the home team’s home field.
Each game will be played under two thirty five minutes
halves and a five minute half-time.
The game time for all games will be 4:30pm. The groups with three teams
shall follow the right column game schedule. There will not be a golden goal
overtime period or a shoot-out at this stage of competition. The official score
shall be the score at the end of regulation time. The first two teams from each
group shall advance to the round of sixteen. Please refer to the CPSSL Rules and Regulations for tie-breaker procedures.

SECOND ROUND
(Round of Sixteen)
NOTE:
The second team on the schedule is the home team. The home team is responsible
for paying the officials ($37.00 each). All games will be played at the two designated
sites. If the score is tied at the end of regulation, two
golden goal overtime periods will be played to determine the winner. Each period will last ten minutes. If the score remains tied, a shoot-out procedure (5 shots) will be used to determine a winner. If the score remains tied, a sudden-death one and one shoot-out procedure will be used to determine a winner. The winners of the eight matches in the round of sixteen will qualify for the quarterfinals.

GAMES SHALL BE PLAYED ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2004, AT TWO SITES TBA. FOUR GAMES
AT ONE SITE AND FOUR AT THE SECOND SITE. THE FIRST GAME SHALL START AT 9:00AM,
WITH ALL OTHER GAMES STARTING 10 MINUTES FOLLOWING THE END OF THE PREVIOUS GAME. THESE GAMES ARE 70 MINUTE GAMES. IN CASE OF A TIED SCORE AT THE END OF REGULATION TIME, AN OVER TIME/GOLDEN GOAL/TWO 10 MINUTE HALVES SHALL
BE PLAYED. IF THE SCORE REMAINS TIED, A SHOOT-OUT PROCEDURE SHALL BE USED TO

OCTOBER 22, 2004. THIS IS A 70 MINUTE GAME. IN CASE OF A TIED SCORE, THE SAME
PROCEDURE AS IN THE ROUND OF SIXTEEN SHALL BE USED TO DETERMINE THE WINNER. THE
SITE AND TIME OF THE GAME SHALL BE ANNOUNCED AT THE CITY PLAYOFFS TOURNAMENT DRAW, WHICH WILL TAKE PLACE ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER
28, 2004 AT W. PAYTON PREP AT 4:00PM.

DURING THE GROUP PLAY STAGE THERE WILL BE SOME ROOM FOR ADJUSTMENTS
AS TO WHO WILL BE HOSTING THESE GAMES. THESE ADJUSTMENTS WILL BE MADE BECAUSE
